     Project "pyAddressBook" was attempt of two young Serbian developers to test popular programming language Python and GUI library GTK for GNU/Linux.

     Project goal was to make a simple application, with acceptable graphical interface, on which we could test coding in Python, using GTK, and connecting all of that with SQL database, and see how the whole thing goes.

     Pleased with the results, we decided to publish our modest beta-version in public, because we believe that perhaps some other programmers, which are also starting at Python, learn something from this example project, or maybe they just want to take a quick look at one of many Python apps.
